Star Plus' TED Talks India Nayi Soch to be back with Season 2, Shah Rukh Khan to host?

Ted Talks wants SRK back for Season 2

With the end of first season of Shah Rukh Khan's Ted Talks India Nayi Soch , makers are contemplating launching the second season with our very own King Khan.

While Shah Rukh Khan has been inspired by the speakers on the show, the makers are keen to have him deliver his Ted Talk in the very first episode of the next season.

To add to the celebrations, the makers have approached music director A.R. Rehman and actor Rajnikanth as speakers in the next season. A source close to the team said: "The makers wanted Rahman in season one itself, but it didn't work out due to date issues. However, he is on board in the new season along with Rajnikanth."

After airing seven episodes in the first season, followed by the finale that will be a combination of the best five speakers from the season, the first season wraped up in january end.

The source said: "The producers are happy with the way the show has panned out and are keen that Shah Rukh Khan reprises his role as a speaker the next season. The contract is currently been worked out. The channel is still in the process of roping in speakers and working out the dates. If they manage to ZERO in on all the speakers in time, the season may begin around Diwali."
