  Shahrukh Khan wanted to do Ittefaq Movie

Shahrukh Khan produced Ittefaq is going to release on November 3. Shahrukh is more than happy with the movie the way it has come out. Akshay Khanna playing a tough cop, Sonakshi sinha playing Maya and Sidharth Malhotra playing Vikram.

Shahrukh reveals that he wanted to do Ittefaq himself since it is an adaption of his mentor director, Yash Chopra's 1969 classic Ittefaq that started Rajesh Khanna and Nanda. But, because SRK couldn't do it due to prior commitments, he decided to co-produce the suspense thriller with Karan Johar and Renu Ravi Chopra.

Sonakshi, Akshaye and Sidharth are looking very impressive in the trailer of the film, but SRK has a favourite actor amongst the three. SRk is impressed by Akshaye's performance in not just the movie but he thinks that Akshay has a strange mystique about him that reflects in his acting. SRK on the performance of star cast says," Akshaye is unreadable and that's one of the plus point of the film. Personaly, I feel that nobaody could have essayed this role better than him. Sidharth and Sonakhi present an able foil to Akshay's character in the film, which just adds to his performance and portrayal of this tough, no-nonsense cop."

SRK then specially adds, "I've always been exteremely fond of Akshaye and  his acting abilities. I'm a big fan of his work. There's a strange mystique about him that reflects in his acting. He does very little, but conveys a gamut of emotions effortlessly. As an audience, he always keeps you guessing about his character's journey".
