Swades movie is the most appreciated movie of Shahraukh Khan. Movie didn’t earn so much money but the film received widespread critical acclaim and considered a cult classic among Hindi speaking audience. Swades wins National awards and most importantly hearts of audience across the world.

Story of the movie is about  emotions, love, revolution, to fight with superstitions. Story of a single person who changed the scenery, who creates  unity, who fight with old values which are pulling society backward, who loves, who want to serve for his caretaker ( Kaveri amma).

Swades movie is one of the longest runtime movie in hindi cinema, still hold its audience with such a tight script. Swades was the first ever Indian movie to actually shoot in NASA.

Soundtrack was designed by oscar winner A.R. Rahman. Songs of the movie come from the kalam (pencil) of Mr. Javed Akhtar, one of the best lyricist of India.
